It is a good thing you have a great room for all your activities. I haven't made a gingerbread house in a long time. I should put that on my christmas to do list next year. Do you still use your patterns and make your own gingerbread?
I still make my own gingerbread but use crackers for the roof. I have the same pattern. Each family brings a bag of candy. We made gingerbread at the cabin for Jani's visitors and had to use some substitutions but it worked out fine. Your grandkids would love this!
