We went on a temple trip to Manila with some members of our district. We got a good price because we bought our tickets in May. The Hong Kong temple is the closest but it is cheaper to fly to Manila. It took about four hours - not counting immigration time.
This is the temple housing. It is very cheap. All that is in the room you see. No chair, no mirror, no closet. They turn the air on at 8:00 p.m. and turn it off at 8:00 a.m. That is to encourage you to spend your time in the temple.
This is part of our group. Some had left. We had 17 in our group.
Sister Margaret, Indian lady, was sealed to her husband. This is the wedding certificate and a picture of the Manila temple that the sealer gave to her.
This is the Philippines MTC. The temple housing is next door on one side and the distribution center is next door on the other side. The temple is across the street. We go through a tunnel under the street to get to the temple.
We hired a van and driver to take us around Manila a little. We went through this museum house. Beautiful old building. This is the building that reminded me of Pride and Prejudice.
This is an old building we toured. It had red carpet that you had to stay on. No pictures could be taken inside. Somebodys castle or something. It is original from the 1600s.
This is the Kings Palace. It is made from coconuts.

I bought one of these baskets. Sister Johnson and Sister Smith did also. We spend money when we get together.
Performance at the megamall for Hari Raya.

This is our neighborhood. We live on the street where you see the street sign.
