I made a page for each person (22) having Thanksgiving dinner with us. It was favorite color, favorite book, favorite movie, favorite season, favorite meal, favorite dessert, most fun thing this summer, and hobby. Then I taped them on the walls. We had to guess who was each paper.
Mike is a personal trainer. He made us work off our pie!
Jani and Amy cut out wood letters that say GIVE THANKS for each family but they had to sand and paint their own.
Countdown to Christmas candy strips. Some wanted to eat it right now.

We grew these in our front yard.

I FORGOT THE BEAR! Jani and I were walking to take a picture of our campground sign and saw a bear go down the hill. I wandered just a little to see it and Jani told me to turn around. There was this bear on the other side of us. We quickly took a picture and left.
Edith, Bruce & I traveled to Cheney after our Glacier trip. Harold had a lovely memorial service. I learned many things I didn't know since I grew up in a different state. I do have good memories of visits. Glenna arranged housing for us and had lots of wonderful food. We enjoyed spending time with this great sister and visiting with Elaine and family.
We stopped at McDonald Lake for lunch and skipped rocks. Mike could get 12 skips. He searched for the best rock. Ken was pretty good also.
We walked from our campground to the visitors center. We watched osprey babies. We went to a program where the Indians danced and we learned of their culture.
We went on many beautiful hikes. This is to Hidden Lake which was 3 miles round trip to the view point. Jani, Mike, Bruce, Jean, Amy, & Arim hiked an additional 3 miles round trip to the lake. The water was very cold. There were goats everywhere but I won't send pictures. You can look at my scrapbook if I get it done.
This is our favorite tradition when we go to glacier (both times). It is a human maze. It has been upgraded since we were here 22 years ago.
We had a great time with Kirk and Julie and family. We were busy every day packing in the fun. We had a cookout at Ken's house. We went to Causey. We went on a train ride. We played laser tag (the kids won). The not so sane ones jumped off the pamper pole. We went swimming at Jani's. Somewhere in there they were able to visit cousins. We were sad to see them go.
We went on a train ride where Connie was teaching train safety. Some of us were in the newspaper picture.
