Yellowstone Vacation

This is Edith and me at Hidden Falls. On the Jenny Lake hike.
This was also on our Jenny Lake hike. There were mosquitoes.

More Yellowstone Trip

This is our ferry ride across Jenny Lake. Then we went on a short hike. We went at 7:00 a.m. - half price time - and it was beautiful. Brent, June, Kelsey, Chris, Heather, Edith, Jean, Bruce
This geyser (Aurum) went off just as we got to it. We were on a tour with a ranger who explained things. This was the first time this geyser had gone off this year. As it was finishing up, Lion - which we had just passed - went off. It lasted for 10 minutes. Then as it was finishing, Old Faithful went off. We saw it from the back. I thoroughly enjoyed this walk.

Here are Edith & I with our famous hats. Chris & Heather are with us. Mammoth was so awesome.

Another one of Jani & Mike's toys

It got a little rough there for a while. Was the camera man worried?
Jani invites you all to come swimming.

Arim

Why do we love such tiny little things that are so much work?
We are making ice-cream. The ice-cream is in the balls the kids are rolling around. This is what we have been doing lately. It may calm down in a month or so.
Emily is the only grandkid who could make it to the top of the rope at Jani's swimming pool.
These are the old babies

Arim's birth announcement

This is the new baby

Memory tag

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

Update

Ken is doing okay. They set the fibula last week because it was the worst. Broken in 3 places. The second surgery was put off so things are the same for now.

Amy is hanging in there. We go to visit & she falls asleep. She is recuperating from her c-section. Arim is doing good & momma is trying. Pictures will be coming.

Chugga chugga choo choo

I went on a real train ride with Connie & her kids. We rode in the dome car with huge windows. It was a beautiful ride through the mountains along Highway 6.

On the train

I felt like we wouldn't fit in the tunnel. We had a sort of guide telling us about the trains.

City of Rocks

The neighbor painted the kids' faces. I think she was sorry when she found out how many we were!
This is what the kids did at the campsite. The last kid is from another campsite.

This is up very high, but Kaycee talked me into it.

I barely made it through.

The guys compare pictures after their ride. Don't you just love Edith's attitude here?

We Are Family

We had a great time at the cabin! We, sisters, went walking with specific instructions for the guys to come pick us up after 45 minutes. The weather was great and so was the conversation.

Monday night we had a campfire & Ken cooked yummy hamburgers over it. Lots of good salads & s'mores!

Bruce is relaxing. He has been working hard the last few weeks putting central air in our house. It is hard because we don't have a furnace and he had to run all the ducts.

We brought Edith with us to decorate graves. We are stopping to visit with Mary Ann. She thinks she can teach me how to do this.
