Kuala Lumpur District Conference

Bruce's surprise birthday party.

Elisha had a surprise birthday party for Bruce. Sister Susan brought the cake.

This was the baker at our hotel.
This is a sign in our hotel. Durians stink but I am not sure why mangosteen is not allowed. They do say the red skin stains and will not come out.
Kellie's Castle in Ipoh that never got completed.

This plane landed at Kota Kinabalu when we were waiting to fly out. They are stationed in Japan.

Friendrich made this grasshopper for me from a banana leaf.
We went with the young adult group to hike to seven waterfalls. We stopped and played in one and took many pictures of others.
One of the waterfalls. This is the one we played at. I did get wet because it was deeper than I thought.
This is a leech. We put salt water on our legs to keep them off. Apparently Friendrich did not.
Bruce and the others are searching for shrimp. They put them in a water bottle.
This Brother and Sister Lee. They are the first senior couple to go on a mission. They just put in their papers but have not received their call.
This is looking down on one of the falls.
We climbed stairs to some of the falls and hiked through the jungle to some. The young adults reminded me of Ken and Kirk helping me over the rough spots.
These monkeys are very aggressive. They expect a handout. If not given willingly, they will follow you.
This is what we came home to after Singapore. The neighbor took pictures on his phone but we are not sure the police will do anything. Peter is taking care of it.

Bruce and I went to Singapore for a visa run. The Garretts took us for a walk along the water where people were flying kites. It is a very beautiful place. One day Jocelyn, who we just met that day, took us to a cinnamon wood shop and other shopping places. The next day Bruce and I went to the Jurong Bird Park.
We went to a shop where men molded figures from cinnamon wood paste. We saw a huge gingerbread house that someone had ordered. I wish I could get it home.
This is Jocelyn and her daughter, Ava. She has five daughters. The others were in school. The Gregorys came over from JB to go to the shop with us.
