We went with Kirk's graduating class and professors to a luncheon at Churchill Downs. The food was available from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You could just step out to watch a race and then return to eat some more. This is Katelyn, Bruce and Amanda.
Overlooking Churchill Downs.
This is where the horses are before the race. And after, I guess.
Watching the races. The trumpet would sound a few minutes before each race. The hats in the gift shop sold for $500 and $600. I didn't get one.
Kirk and Emily's horse won. Too bad they didn't bet.
This is Kirk & Julie's new home. The house behind them has a swimming pool.

Elaine was in Utah and spent Sunday night and Monday at our cabin. This is what it looked like when we got there.
This is what we woke up to!
Elaine and Edith came to the cabin for one night and day. It was fun visiting and catching up.
Park City Girls Retreat. This is Amy's project. We watched 5 movies and went shopping and out to eat. We never made it to the hot tub. The girls are cutting out papers for necklaces. We used scrapbook paper, paint samples from Home Depot, and yes, the newspaper.
Connie is huffing to get the bubbles out.
Here are some of our creations. Amy did about 15. Amy was looking at the newspaper we were using to cover the table and decided to do a cross word so Jean did a Sudoku.

We visited Joan in Twin Falls. The Falls are in the background. It is raining and blowing.
Easter at the Browns. We hide boiled eggs in the backyard that the kids bring. We hide treats in the front yard from Gram and Gramps. We have a barbeque with deviled eggs - lots of them. The big event is the egg roll. It is always a question at our New Years Eve party.
The big guys hid the eggs in the back. The girls did the front.
After the eggs are found we gather them in a carton to see if any are missing. We select our eggs for the egg roll before they are hidden to ensure their safety.
We couldn't account for one egg.
Luckily Arim's didn't crack for a few rounds. He really got into it.
